Dear Pine Lakes Residents,

Our fine maintenance team is completing the bocce courts – covering the borders with the same carpet. This should be completed by the end of the first week of July.

The Pub ladies rest room will be complete by July 1st at the latest.

We have some road paving work that has been completed. I have heard all positive comments on the vendor and the workmanship. If anyone notices any issues in the newly paved area’s please let me know. As we prepare for approval to do major repairing early next year, I want to have confidence in the workmanship. So if you notice any issues I would like to be informed and can pass this on to our vendor to correct!

I had my monthly meeting with the Regional Manager of Lake Masters and they seem to have things under control. We are getting some grass and algae which they are aggressively treating. This means we may notice a few areas that have some surface grass and algae but it is temporary.

Our golf course has come back very well. Our practice green was over seeded with passpalum grass and has grown in pretty well. We have a few spots that are thin and this will fill in soon.

We will open the putting green very shortly, before July 1st. I am attempting to get approval to over-seed 9 greens next year with this passpalum seed. Our plan is in two years to have all passpalum greens so they will be thick, plush and consistent. All with the same turf!

The horticulture dumpster is open on Wednesday & Friday from 7am to 3pm. We have found trash and tires in the dumpster. It is imperative that residents follow the rules and do not put trash in this container or we may close this down.

It is peak growing season, please be sure flower beds are weeded and bushes are trimmed. Also that the exterior of your house is clean. We will be doing 360 inspections in July.

Hurricane season is almost here. Our emergency preparedness plan will be inserted in this month’s newsletter.

Pet’s – be sure to walk your dog in approved areas. Do not walk your dog on other resident’s lawns. Pick up after your dog.

Ever since the horticulture pit closed, your HOA representatives have been working for a compromise that would benefit everyone, especially the residents.

That has now happened. Now you can place your horticulture (properly bundled or containerized) out on Sunday for Monday curbside pickup OR you can take your clippings to the pit near the driving range and place them in the dumpster that is clearly marked for horticulture only.

The dumpster will be there on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This gives you three times to get your yard work done and comply with the rules of the prospectus and covenants.

The dumpster is for RESIDENTS ONLY and not commercial providers. This service is a privilege and not a right. If the new service is abused we will once again lose it. Do NOT place trash in the dumpster. Trash is picked up curbside every Tuesday and Friday. We hope everyone finds this service beneficial, especially during the wet and rapidly growing season of the summer.
