WASTE PRO HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

January 1, New Year’s Day
Memorial Day – the last Monday in May
July 4th                       
Labor Day – first Monday in September
Christmas Day – December 25th
      
When there is a Monday holiday, the garbage will be collected on Tuesday along with the recycles.

RECYCLABLES PICK UP ON TUESDAYS

  

HORTICULTURE & TRASH PICK UP ON MONDAYS

  • Place garbage/trash within 6 feet of the curb by 6:00 AM.

  • Place garbage/trash in an approved container such as garbage can or trash bag.

  • Construction debris cannot exceed 2 cubic yards. One cubic yard is 1 yard x 1 yard x 1 yard.

  • For greater amounts, please contact Waste Pro directly at the number above.

  • No hazardous material. Contact Lee County Solid Waste as 533-8000 for hazardous material disposal information.

  • All recycles are to be in approved recycle bin. Contact Waste Pro if you do not have a proper bin.

  • Cardboard is recyclable and must be placed out on the appropriate day.

  • Grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, etc. must be bagged. Do not use the recycle bin for yard waste.

   

ELECTRONICS AND WHITE GOODS

  • Electronic items can be left at curb for a specially scheduled pick up. Electronics include small items like toaster or large items like televisions. Put these out on Tuesday.

  • White goods are refrigerators, stove, water heaters, washers, dryers, freezers. These are put out on Tuesday or Friday for a special pickup and will be tagged for pickup.

RULES & FINES FOR HORTICULTURE

  • Horticulture may be placed curbside on Sunday for Monday pickup by Waste Pro.

  • Residents may take horticulture to the horticulture pit area on AS NOTED ABOVE

  • The horticulture pit will be unlocked and manned by a staffer Monday through Friday from 2:00-2:30 p.m. for contractors to deposit horticulture taken from Pine Lakes and Lake Fairway’s residences ONLY.

  • Contractors must enter Pine Lakes empty to be able to deposit horticulture in the Pine Lakes horticulture pit.

  • Horticulture and trash placed curbside on inappropriate days is subject to a fine of $100 for early pick-up. Residents please advise your service provider of these changes and let them know they can take your clippings to the pit daily between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m.
